Fly to both Singaopore and Maldives in one trip from Hong Kong for only $331 with Scoot!
If you’re looking for a paradisiacal place, with golden sand, crystal clear waters and plenty of sun, Maldives are a great choice. Fly to this small nation in the middle of the Indian Ocean and be amazed by the the fantastic beaches, coral reefs and underwater wildlife that make this country one of the most sought after beach destinations on the planet!
Island hopping
Maldives is a tropical archipelago which consists of about 1200 coral islands and countless lagoons, grouped in a double chain of 26 atolls in the heart of the Indian Ocean. For short hops, boat is the cheapest option for getting around the atolls. Hop on board the traditional Maldivian dhoni and pay a visit to the smallest resorts in the Maldives, getting a glimpse of life on local islands. Some dhonis are available for charter. There is also a public MTCC ferry network connecting all the inhabited islands daily (except on Friday). Ferries are cheap but relatively slow, so if you lack time, a speedboat is definitely recommended. There are transfers included in the package tours.
If you travel outside Malé atoll then you will have a to book a domestic flight or a supply dhoni. To reach remote resorts you’ll need to choose far pricier seaplane. Trans Maldivian Airways provide seaplane transfer services out of Ibrahim Nasir Airport in Malé to a large number of tourist resorts.

Singapore, world’s only island city-state, the smallest country in Southeast Asia, is also a land of contrasts. It’s the perfect mix of culture, tasty food, extraordinary landmarks and unique architectural icons.
Singapore Skyline
Visit the Singapore business district and enjoy the view of skyscrapers on Marina Bay. Stroll along the Waterfront Promenade, a 3.5-kilometre walkway in the bay. There are mist sprays and shelters with motion sensor fans to relieve visitors from Singapore heat. Go to Merlion Park to see the symbol of Singapore - the Merlion fountain. This 8.6-metre-tall statue represents a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish.
Enjoy the view from the Singapore Flyer, a 165-metres (541 feet) observation wheel, with 28 air-conditioned capsules. Admire the architecture of ArtScience Museum, resembling the lotus flower. Wander along the Helix Bridge, a spiral construction that resembles the DNA. Around 20:00 you can catch the spectacular light show, which illuminates the water and landmarks.
