Rarotonga is a jungle-covered, volcanic island. If you’re interested in abundant, exotic flora and fauna take a guided trek into the interior. If you’re not the mountain climbing type take a bird watching tour in the lower forest – Rarotonga has almost as many beautiful native birds as it has brilliant tropical fish. Driest months on Rarotonga are from May to October, and the warmest months from January to March. The temperatures are pleasant all year round, so it is usually sun bathing and swimming weather!
