Famed for its architecture, this 6th-century Byzantine masterpiece is Istanbul’s most iconic sight. Its dome was considered a revolution in the history of architecture. The building that stands today was actually the third church to be built on this site. The original 4th century structure was built by the first Emperor, Constantine the Great. It was once a house of worship that served several religions. It started out as a Greek Eastern Orthodox basilica, then it was converted to a Roman Catholic Church. It then served as a mosque from 1453 until 1931, before becoming the secular museum in 1935.
This great structure features decorative mosaics depicting various religious scenes. Five sultans and their families rest at the southeast corner of Aya Sofya. The tombs date from as early as 1574.

Izmir, Turkey’s third-largest city is proudly liberal and deeply cultured. Garlanded around the azure-blue Bay of İzmir, it has been an important Aegean port since ancient times, when it was the Greek city of Smyrna, and its seafront kordon (promenade) is as fetching and lively as any in the world.

The reason for this is a mystery to us, as the city is home to compelling attractions including one of Turkey’s most fascinating bazaars, an impressive museum of history and art, and a local lifestyle as laid-back as it is welcoming.
The Seychelles are the oldest oceanic islands to be found anywhere on Earth. Sandy, dreamlike beaches with granite boulders, swaying palm trees, coral reefs and underwater wildlife make this country a dream destination. The group of 115 tropical islands in the Indian Ocean with only a few inhabited, is known for rich marine life and nature reserves.
The biggest and most populated island in the Seychelles offers over 60 beautiful beaches, bays and coves. Anse Soleil, Intendance, Takamaka and Petite Anse are some of the most spectacular. Beau Vallon is a huge sweeping bay with calm shallow waters ideal for children. You can also hike from there to the gorgeous Anse Major.
Mahé has an affordable bus service that literally goes everywhere. Explore densely forested interior and small towns with a unique Creole culture. Enjoy waterfalls, mountain walks and stunning viewpoints. Visit Morne Seychellois National Park with a mountain range clad in thick tropical forest. Port Launay Marine Reserve, with abundant seal ife, offers some of the best snorkelling and diving on the island. In Victoria you can go to a botanical garden, a market and explore various sights.
