Alitalia Status Match Promotion: enjoy all the privileges of MilleMiglia Program

Alitalia is trying to win some frequent fliers from competing airlines by offering a MilleMiglia status match promotion. The opportunity is open to members of other loyalty programs, aside from those that belong to the SkyTeam Alliance.

Alitalia guarantees that your current frequent flyer status within MilleMiglia loyalty program will be matched. If you’re a Silver, Gold or Platinum Member of a loyalty program for an airline that is not part of the SkyTeam Alliance, you can request to be granted one of the MilleMiglia status levels:

• members with Silver status – Ulisse Club
• members with Gold status – Freccia Alata Club
• Platinum members – Freccia Alata Plus Club

The process of submitting for a status match is very easy. You may take part in the promotion by sending an email to StatusMatchMilleMiglia@alitalia.com by December 31, 2015 with the following data:

• first name and last name
• MilleMiglia code (if you are not already a MilleMiglia Member, register for the program first)
• a legible copy of your existing valid Frequent Flyer program card, showing the Member’s status

Your new MilleMiglia status will be effective 5 working days after you send the request email and will be maintained until March 31, 2016. If the status in the existing Frequent Flyer Program expires after March 31, 2016, the equivalent status recognized within the MilleMiglia Program will be valid until March 31, 2017.

To confirm that your status has been recognized, you will receive a personalized email from your new program. The card will be sent by ordinary mail to the address indicated during registration within seven working days of the activation in Alitalia’s systems.
