Enjoy the view from the top of the hill, at a height of 2,325 meters (7,628 ft) above sea level. In the middle of the park there is the Chapultepec Castle.
From October 31st to November 2nd, you can take part in Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). During this cross-cultural festival, the Mexican people celebrate their loved ones who have passed on. Residents walk along the streets with skull-painted faces. The families visit the graves of their departed loved ones and enjoy a picnic in the cemetery. Gravesites are decorated with flowers and adorned with offerings of food, cigarettes and alcoholic beverages.
