After dropping the need for a pre-boarding test for vaccinated visitors in the beginning of the month, the English Government is also preparing to scrap the need for a “day two” test.
During a visit to Milton Keynes Hospital, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson informed journalists that the “day two” test would no longer be necessary for “double jabbed” visitors, as a way of showing that the country is coming back. to normality.
“So what we’re doing on travel, to show that this country is open for business, open for travellers, you will see changes so that people arriving no longer have to take tests if they have been vaccinated, if they have been double vaccinated.”
Meanwhile UK’s Secretary of State for Transport added that the new rules will apply starting from February 11.

With regard to visitors without full vaccination – and contrary to preliminary information that stated that the entry rules would remain unchanged – a pre-boarding test and a “day two” PCR test will be required.
Arrivals in England who aren't fully vaccinated will only need to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on or before day 2 after arriving in England 🧪🛬
All passengers will still need to complete a Passenger Locator Form. (2/4)
