A miniature train will take you through Postojna. Admire cathedral-shaped rock formations, giant stalactites and stalagmites in one of the largest karst caves in the world. Around 5 km of the cave system can be explored – partially on foot and partially with the cave rail. Discover the Macaroni Hall and wonder at its 5-meter-high stalagmite.
Explore the monumental Škocjan Caves. This massive karst cave system features one of the largest subterranean chambers in the world, known as the "underground Grand Canyon". It is 146 m high and it also has many kilometres of trails for visitors. The caves hold a number of geological features such as travertine terraces, limestone pools, and giant stalagmites. There are no less than 26 underground waterfalls in this cave system.
