Cheap flights from Bratislava to Lanzarote for €46
Ryanair is offering interesting fares on flights from Bratislava to the Canary islands from only €46 for a round trip.
Lanzarote produces excellent wines, of which 75% are made from the Malvasia grape, already praised by Shakespeare hundreds of years ago. After the vineyards were buried in lava in the 1730s, farmers had to drastically rethink their methods of cultivation to continue growing vines in the new conditions. They proved that lush valleys and verdant rolling hills aren't the only places for grapes. The local viniculture is completely different from any other wine area on Earth.
lf you take the road from Uga to Masdache, you come through the strange volcanic vineyards of La Geria valley, at the border of the Timanfaya National Park. You’ll see the rows of dimples dug in the nutrient-rich volcanic soil. The granules of volcanic rock can absorb moisture from the air, retain the night humidity and prevent evaporation. The 10,000 hollows, surrounded by semi-circular walls, were built by hand for each individual vine to provide protection from the wind.
