Amazing opportunity for a true explorer! We created a package including flights from Bucharest, Romania, stay in top-rated hotels in Dead Sea, Aqaba (Red Sea), Wadi Rum, Wadi Musa (Petra) and Amman and car rental for only €293.50 (on 2p basis)!
Pick up your car and head to the shores of the Dead Sea! Enjoy spectacular sunsets at the lowest point on earth, surrounded by rising mountains and gold sand dunes. Float on the most salty of the world’s ocean water bodies, supported only by the high saline density of water!
After a couple of days relaxing, time to head up south, by the Dead Sea Highay! Aqaba lies in the shores of the Read Sea and its a great base to experience some great diving since warm waters provide a hospitable environment for the growth of corals, and favourable salinity levels provide an environment for myriad varieties of marine-life forms.
After some Red Sea diving, time experience one of Jordan’s most sought after attractions and spend a night in Wadi Rum Desert. This protected UNESCO World Heritage Site with towering monoliths was chosen as the backdrop to many movies (e.g. ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘Prometheus, ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ and ‘The Martian’). A camel ride to watch the sunrise at the sand dunes glowing deep orange and red is an experience you’ll never forget.
If Wadi Rum is pretty well know, what to say about Petra? This world-famous archaeological site was the ancestral capital of the thriving Arabian civilisation, which managed to raise the rock-cut treasuries and temples here. The carved Nabataean ruins of come hidden away in the craggy mountains, between a series of winding passageways that are a real treat to explore!
After Petra, time to follow the Kings Highway and discover some spectacular attractions and monuments along the way as the Dana Biosphere Reserve, Kerak Castle or Madaba. Finally, spend the last day of your trip in Amman. This city offers an abundance of archaeological treasures to experience. Walk the winding streets in the hectic city centre. See the mosaic of souks and mosque minarets that make up the famous area of Al Balad. In Abdali you’ll find chic cafes and boutiques.
