The Hungarian low cost carrier today announced that it will resume operations between Budapest and Baku starting from 27 March 2016. We found flights to Azerbaijan from 16 180 HUF (€52) round trip!
The route was first operated in 2013, but after slightly more than one year the airline suspended the service between the capitals of Hungary and Azerbaijan. Following a new contract, the service will now be resumed with two weekly frequencies on Wednesdays and Sundays. Seats on the Budapest – Baku route are already on sale and can be booked starting from 16 180 HUF (€52) round trip!
Neither Europe nor Asia, Azerbaijan is a tangle of contrasts. Baku, located on the coast of the Caspian Sea, have always attracted tourists. Of particular interest to visitors is Old City, enclosed within the fortress walls.
