Breathtaking journey!
Yesterday we published a nice deal to the distant Easter Island! Today thanks to the cheap Alitalia flights to Chile we offer you to discover the spectacular National Parks of Patagonia! Take a direct flight from Rome to Santiago and then further South to Patagonia for only €474 for a round trip!
Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!
Your journey will start in Italy where you get on a board of Alitalia aircraft that will take you directly to beautiful Chilean capital Santiago. Take a two day rest and get used to the local time in the city that is full of expansive museums and top-flight restaurants. And of course, do not forget that Chile is the country of good wines!
Now it’s time to start your trip to the land of the scenic Andes and the famous granite pillars of Torres del Paine National Park. Take a plane to Punta Arenas and then head to Puerto Natales – a gateway to the park. Torres del Paine is known for its splendid blue glaciers and three tower mountains the park takes its name from. The Towers are indeed the park’s greatest hit but you definitely have come here to discover much more attractions: crystal water lakes, emerald forests, breathtaking roaring rivers. On Torres del Paine 130km circuit you will experience some challenging walks and have a chance to spot a condor soaring over the stunning landscapes.
If you still don’t feel satisfied with the stunning scenery and intensive trekking you may cross the border with Argentina and explore another wonder created by nature – Los Glaciares National Park.
For trekking near Fitz Roy mountain you must access the park via El Chaltén on the northeastern edge of the park. There are buses from Puerto Natales or rent a car to get there from Chile.
In the southern part of the Park you will see the most famous glacier – Perito Moreno. It produces a cyclic phemomenon of forward and backward movement with spectacular ice falls from its front walls.
After active walks and a lot of traveling you will be prized with a rest in the capital of the Lakes District – Puerto Montt. Take a flight to the city airport from Punto Arenas, book a nice hotel here and relax enjoying beautiful views.
The last part of your exiting journey we suggest to spend around Santiago before you fly back to Europe. There are plenty of world class wineries close to Chilean capital and you just can’t leave Chile without seeing its vineyards and tasting its world famous wines.
