Ryanair to launch 2 new routes to Western Sahara

Ryanair appears to be expanding to Western Sahara, as two new routes to Dakhla have surfaced on its website despite no official announcement from the airline. Although Ryanair has yet to confirm the news publicly, flight availability and booking options are already live online, signaling an impending launch.

Ryanair has quietly unveiled plans to connect Dakhla, Western Sahara, with new routes from both Madrid and Lanzarote, although the airline has not yet made any official announcement. Despite the lack of formal confirmation, travelers can already find flights to the coastal city available for booking on the carrier’s website.

The route from Lanzarote is set to commence on January 11, 2025, with flights scheduled twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This new connection will provide a convenient link between the Canary Islands and Dakhla, potentially boosting tourism between the two destinations.

However, there are still no more details regarding the Madrid route. While the option is visible online, no further information on its start date or frequency is available on the website.
