You can hike the Masca Barranco, a 4.5 km descent through incredible, narrow Masca Gorge, from the village to black sand beach (Playa de Masca) and then take a boat to Los Gigantes.
Despite requiring the use of hands for support in a couple of places and often being steep, the trail easy enough for relatively experienced hikers (it takes about 3 h one way). The landscape is volcanic with fantastic rock formations and vertical cliffs hundreds of meters high. During the boat trip to Los Gigantes you might see dolphins or whales.
