Wizz Air expansion
The Hungarian budget airline has just shared the news that starting from next spring it will fly again to Kharkiv and launch 12 new routes from Ukraine and Poland.
Starting from the 26th of March 2018, the low-cost carrier will launch flights from Lviv to Gdansk and Katowice, and from the 21st of May 21 2018 – to Dortmund. Flights on the three new routes will will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, and from June 20 Wizz Air will open additional flights Lviv-Katowice on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The declared prices of tickets for flights Lviv-Gdansk and Lviv-Katowice start from 279 UAH one way, on flights Lviv-Dortmund – from 719 UAH one way.
Starting on the the 5th of April 2018, the airline will reinstate the flights to Kharkov with a route to Dortmund, Germany. The introduction of this popular route will create a truly affordable and convenient travel opportunity for many Ukrainians working abroad or travelling for business or leisure purposes. Flights in this direction will be carried out twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The declared price of tickets starts from 869 UAH one way.
From the 20th of June 2018 Wizz Air will start to operate one more new route – from Kharkiv to Katowice, with flights on Wednesdays and Fridays. According to the airline, one-way flight on this route will cost at least 579 UAH.
New routes from Poland to Porto, Memmingen, Lviv and Kharkiv will be operated all year long. Routes from Poland to Malaga, Faro and Podgorica will be seasonal.
